New in BandTools: Send newsletter later, pin a newsletter, plus year in review

Hot on the heels of last time, we’ve added two more great new features to BandTools.
Send newsletter later
If your BandTools plan includes the feature, you can now schedule the sending of a newsletter up to 30 days in the future.
Clicking the new Send later button will open a window where you can select the date and time the newsletter will be sent:

Select the date and time you require. If you’re in the United States, the dates and times will be formatted correctly for you:

Newsletters that have been scheduled to send later will appear in your Drafts folder with a clock icon. You can hover over the clock to see a tooltip with the schedule:
Note that the schedule you select is the date and time from which BandTools will start to email the newsletter to your subscribers. Due to the way BandTools processes the bulk sending of emails, individual subscribers are not guaranteed to receive the newsletter at the exact schedule time.
If you no longer wish to send the newsletter using the schedule, simply edit the draft then click the Cancel button within the schedule notification:
Pin a newsletter to the top of the newsletter archive
If your BandTools account plan includes the newsletter archive feature, you can now optionally pin a newsletter to the top of the archive. This is useful if there’s a newsletter that you wish to draw attention to. A Pinned badge within the newsletter archive highlights when a newsletter has been pinned to the top:
To pin a newsletter, go to the Sent folder:
Click the new pin icon (1) to pin that newsletter to the top. Or click the unpin icon (2) to unpin. Note that only one newsletter can be pinned at a time. Clicking to pin a newsletter will automatically unpin any previously pinned newsletter.
BandTools Year in Review
Development work started on BandTools on the 4th January 2025 and it went live on the 27th June. 964 newsletters have been sent so far using the platform. Since go-live we’ve added:
