This is just a little note to say hello, and report that thanks to a dear friend who has put their back into the process to create something really cool called Band Tools, the Urgency of Change love letters are reborn!
When it's appropriate I will write more about this wonderful development, and how you can maybe use it too if you need it. But for now I just wanted to write a little letter and tell you that the mailing list for The Urgency Of Change is finally back up and running! Yay!

There is a little news, but first I wanted to say that if you don't want to receive these letters anymore you can easily unsubscribe. Things change, I understand. It's not a big deal. I got this list from the final condition of the old mailing list, and so it's just everyone who was on it before Tiny LEtter went away forever. If you'd like to stay, that makes me very happy, and you are welcome here. But please don't feel like it's a drag, or you're getting communiqués that you don't want. Unsubcribe. Clear your inbox of nonsense you don't need. This should feel like you're cared about, and wanted to be connected with, and I should absolutely have your consent for that. So if it's not where you're at right now, that's wonderful. Let us go (and we'll still love you).

The only news I have for you right now is that we are in the last days of a limited edition t-shirt run.

This is a limited edition of 50 hand printed, all cotton shirts in white only.
At this writing there are still 12 shirts available in any size or style.

Here's how it works:
The cost of the shirt (the shirt, the printing, the label removal, the packaging, the shipping within the US) is $27
Whatever else you donate 100% of that will go to save the bees.
As usual sizes above XL are an additional $5 each and also may change the shipping costs. We can work that out if that's what you need. It's not a big deal.

We have selected a bee collective that we love, and are raising money for their efforts. Donations have been between $5 and $125, you can donate as little or as much as you are able to. All of it goes to the cause. I am donating my time, effort, and design as well as some money myself. We make nothing from this project, it's all for the very best cause - the bees!

How to order
Since it's only a 50 shirt run, and a short project, there are no fancy buttons and pages to buy them.
Just send me a message via email, on instagram (@sunshine_jones_) or on facebook and let me know you'd like one. I will ask you some questions, and we will make it happen.

There are shows coming up, I'm playing a live set with Octave One and Todd Terry in Maddison Wisconson at Musique Electronique on July 12th, and again at the Groovewell Vacation in Northern California on July 25th and lots more.

I recently released a 100% live performance recording devoted to the Jupiter 4, 6 and 8 (using only those instruments for the entire recording, no edits, no computers, just me 100% live to tape) and you can explore that and listen for free on our bandcamp page here.

My next album (working title GONE) is well underway, I've been writing about it a bit on instagram lately because things have begun to take shape at last. I've got some interesting ideas about touring, the mosaic of performance, and where, why and how to do that. But first - the album.
